Having spent nearly 30 years living and working in Albany, Paul has now returned after a couple years absence and is delighted to be a part of the successful team at Merrifield Real Estate. He has extensive local insight in Albany’s past, its present and the foreseeable future to enable him to match the right clients with the right properties.  

With a background in banking and finance spanning over a decade, Paul has a proven knowledge in handling loan and settlement matters and understands the myriad needs that buyers and sellers may encounter. He has built his reputation upon trust and integrity and has many repeat, satisfied clients who know he will always strive for the best results and assist them in avoiding complications.

Paul invites all past and future clientele to catch up and speak with him regarding their real estate needs.

COMMERCIAL / STRATA MANAGER

My real estate career began at Merrifield Real Estate as a receptionist in 2002.  My career then moved to residential property management where I stayed for the next 2 years which further led to my interest in commercial property management.

After completing the commercial property management course at REIWA in 2005 it was then that I realised that commercial property management was where my career would take me.  I then took a job working as an assistant commercial property manager with the Professionals.  After my time there I decided a change to law would be advantageous to my ever increasing need for knowledge.  Spending 18 months working as a legal secretary gave me a greater understanding of commercial leasing and a view from the other side of the fence.

Now back with Merrifield Real Estate I am confident that my wealth of experience is the edge I need to excel in the role of Commercial and Strata Manager.  

PROPERTY MANAGER

Melanie commenced her career in real estate in 2006 and joined the team at Merrifield Real Estate as Property Manager in 2009.  With an experienced background in administration and office management spanning over 20 years, including working for a local law firm, Melanie is proud to now be a part of the Merrifield team.

With an eye for attention to detail and committed in her approach, Melanie believes regular communication is paramount in building trust and a rapport with her clients and getting the best results.

Julie has been at Merrifield Real Estate for over 18 years and has earned a reputation in excelling as a strata and commercial specialist. She is fully qualified to handle all enquiries in this field and deals exclusively with some of Albany’s biggest clients.

Julie also runs the book keeping department at Merrifield Real Estate and is a true asset to the business while overseeing our storage unit department.

OFFICE ADMINISTRATION

I started my employment with Merrifield Real Estate in early 2003 as a Residential Property Manager however my Real Estate career began 4 years prior when I was working in Property Settlements.  After leaving in 2007 on maternity leave I returned in 2008 on a part time basis as an Office Assistant helping out in the Property Management Department and Administration.

I enjoy working in the real estate industry especially in the team environment we have at Merrifield Real Estate and continue to strive to achieve the highest accolades in customer service.

After spending the last twenty years in the tourism and hospitality industries Damian has a keen understanding of what great customer service is all about. Having been involved with sporting clubs in playing and administration capacities Damian knows the importance of building relationships and what is required to get the best out of oneself for the team.
